Nuno & Vanda as a couple are dramatic , intense and have held audiences captivated all over the world including Europe, the Middle East , New York & Puerto Rico. They are two professional Portuguese choreographers who specialise in Latin Dance but are also trained in contemporary , Jazz & Tango which all have influenced their style of Salsa . Nuno and Vanda belong to the very private circle of the world salsa super stars with exceptional talent. Do you want to look like you were born dancing to Salsa music? Well this couple will get you onto the dnce floor in style in no time. Nuno and Vanda have been teaching dancing for almost a decade, their easy to follow , step by step approach to teaching builds a strong foundation and makes learning easy. Learn the terminology of partner work , the way to correctly lead and follow. Nuno and Vanda will show you the moves that will have you looking like a natural dancer in no time.

 

 

Frank Santos is one of the hottest new talents on the UK and international salsa scene. Originally from the Dominican Republic, Frank grew up in Italy where he started to develop his talent in dance. Frank started to dance salsa in 2001 and went on to study various styles. he has taught and performed throughout Europe and beyond - in France, Holland, Poland, Latvia, Bratislava, Slovenia, Italy, Germany, Israel, Brussel, Denmark, Sweden, Bulgaria, the U.S.A and Cuba to name but a few. His dance group 'A Yemaya' won the 2008 award for the best UK performance. He is renowned for his dynamic, creative style and seamlessly incorporates this into his teaching technique . Alina Moskvina was born in Russia. At he age of three she moved to Estonia where her passion for dance lead her to develop and learn other type of dance such as modern, hip hop and flamenco. Salsa started for her in 2005 and she was soon noticed and asked to perform with professional salsa dancers and was also a part of the Corozan dance group who won the title best Salsa group in Estonia. In 2007 she moved to London In 2008 Alina won the North-West Bachata Championship with a show choreographed by Frank Santos who she continues to work side by side with, choreographing, teaching and performing around the UK and Europe.

 

MIGUEL RICO & MAYANA are regarded as one of the UK's most passionate and respected dancers and teachers of Salsa. They won the best teachers award in the U.K. 2009

MIGUEL RICO:
Corona Salsa Champion 2001, Scala Latina Salsa Champion 2003 and UKA Salsa Champion 2006-2007, UK Professional Salsa Champion 2007 are some of his rewards and achievements since he started this amazing journey 10 years ago.
Miguel music interpretation is a gift from his both musician parents, this knowledge and experience makes him stand out on his performances and freestyle.
His personality is contagious.

MAYANA:
Mayana’s love for dance started at an early age, she followed her heart and went to one of the best Russian Dance Academy where she studied from traditional dances to contemporary. She continued teaching various dance styles until she found Salsa. 2007 UK Professional UK Salsa Champion.

What really makes her unique its her dance style where she combines all the knowledge she has of various dances, creating her own signature which portraying her as an elegant and stylish dancer.

 

 

 

 

Miriam Oppel is a highly sought after teacher and performer and is regarded as one of the best in the U.K for ladies' salsa styling.She has a degree in Dance & Culture from the University of Surrey and has trained in a variety of genres includingurban Jazz, contemporary, clasical India dance, African and Ballet. She is know for her versatility and charisma, being able to easily switch from elegant for funky style.

 

Moe Flex is one of the most exciting, inspiring and entertaining characters in the Latin dance scene today. The man with the biggest smile in salsa can always be found at the heart of the UK's biggest salsa nights, weekenders and congresses and will always be heard above the music calling the best rueda there is. Moe burst onto the dance circuit in 1998, choreographing routines for Bollywood. He then became a regular choreographer for major entertainment events.
Now focusing on his true passion, salsa and all things Latin, Moe divides his time between teaching, choreographing and performing throughout the UK and overseas. Moe is one of the UK's best salsa teachers, encouraging and mentoring everyone from first time beginners to professional dancers in his inimitable "all good" style.

 

Originally from Latin America but based in Birmingham (UK), Mauricio Reyes is the founder of Latin Motion, the biggest salsa outfit in the Midlands since it was established in the early 1990's. Mauricio has been dancing and listening to salsa all of his life and has been teaching salsa dance since the tender age of 17. As a DJ he is guaranteed to read the crowd, spinning a broad range of top salsa, from NY to LA, Colombian to Cuban, etc. SALSA pa' bailar - dura pero sabrosa! Mauricio has been DJ-ing since 1994, playing and teaching regularly all over the Midlands, the UK and abroad. He is a regular DJ at some of the UKs biggest salsa events, and has been awarded 'Top UK Salsa DJ', 'Top Regional Promoters' & 'Services to Salsa' awards at the 2003 congresses. As a dedicated salsa DJ, dance instructor and promoter for well over a decade, Mauricio’s work within the UK salsa scene has been extensive. He has introduced & inspired a huge number of people to Salsa, including many other Salsa dance teachers in and around Birmingham.

 

Yolande began dancing as a young child and has trained extensively in ballet, tap, modern, jazz, ballroom and Latin American dance. Yolande’s first real exposure to salsa dancing came during the mid 90s with "Salsoteca Productions" and she has subsequently performed with various dance companies around the UK and is a specialist in ladies styling. She is an aesthetically exquisite salsa dancer and a very popular instructor.

Terry Lewis – UK

Terry Lewis was culturally exposed to Caribbean and Latin dance at a very early age, which led to a study of jazz music and jazz dance during the mid 80s._During the early 90s he began studying salsa under the tuition of Colombian born Elder Sanchez and by the mid 90s was performing with various dance companies around the UK. Anthony Auffret - Ireland

Anthony was born in Brittany , France, where he started dancing at an early age. His first dance steps were taken in Fest Noz (traditional dancing). By the age of 13 Anthony decided it was time to rebel and learn something "cooler". He went on to learn, Le Rock.  In 1999 Anthony discovered Salsa and got hooked. In 2001 he traveled to Latin America and gained a better understanding of the history and culture behind the dance.  

That same year he started competing with his partner Coral Perez Garcia. In 2002 they represented Ireland as semi-finalists in the World Salsa Championships in Miami.

Anthony created SalsaNation dance company in  2002.

He teaches LA Style, he believes that as a salsa teacher his primary mission is to convey his love of the music and dance to his students. "The learning process should always be fun.

 

 

 

Siobhan has been teaching salsa in Ireland since 1998 when she started the first salsa class in Cork. She has traveled to the major centres of salsa in Europe and USA, gaining experience, technique and ideas. She is an accomplished teacher, aiming to give students a solid foundation in the techniques of salsa to enable them to dance with partners of all levels, and to encourage them to be creative and find their own style. For her, salsa is about enjoying the music and the dance, and having fun with your partner.

 

 

Suavemente Salsa was founded by Fernando Gutierrez. Fernando, originally from Guatemala, started dancing salsa socially in 1998. Like many he very quickly became a salsaholic and travels regularly to salsa congresses across Europe and Latin America every chance he gets. He started teaching salsa in 2001 and founded Suavemente Salsa in 2003. Suavemente teach a range of classes at the Suavemente Dance Studios in the centre of Dublin.  Suavemente salsa have a reputation for teaching "dance floor friendly" moves or as Fernando puts it "do-able" moves.

Darren Brady - N. Ireland.

Darren teaches with the Derry based company called Sabroso. He began his Salsa experience dancing as a past time and for fun to begin with but fell in love with it straight away.He has travelled extensively throughout Ireland, Scotland, England and Spain. Darren has been teaching now for five years, he teaches to a high standard whilst incorporating lots of fun and a relaxed environment at the same time. His style of dance is generally LA but have been known to mix it up with a bit of cuban flavour and style. He also has a huge love for Bachata and Reggaeton.

 

Vanessa is an elegant and complete dancer, her experience in different types of dance adds flavour and passion to her dancing and body movement. As a full-time dance teacher and musician, she has studied Salsa and its music and shares shares her experience in her classes, choreographies and performances.

Her ability to combine diverse styles with musicality adds to her smooth lead and graceful following.

David Hynes has been dancing and teaching in the North of Ireland for many years and is now living in London where he dances under the tuition of Gil and Shelley.

David is known for his attention to detail in his classes, focusing on technique before learning complex moves.
